An overheating engine can destroy itself in minutes, so cooling system problems get priority in our shop. We repair and replace radiators, coolant hoses, and water pumps, and we pressure-test the system to find leaks that only show up when the engine is hot.

Coolant leaks are usually small and intermittent before they’re catastrophic — a seeping hose clamp, a weeping water pump seal, a hairline crack in a plastic radiator end tank. A pressure test finds those while they’re still cheap. If your temperature gauge climbs in traffic or you keep topping off the reservoir, that’s the system telling you now instead of later.

What's Included

  • Radiator replacement
  • Coolant hose replacement
  • Water pump replacement
  • Cooling system pressure test
  • Coolant flush and refill
  • Overheating diagnosis

Water pump failure deserves special mention: on many engines the pump is driven by the timing belt or chain, which makes replacement labor-intensive and best done alongside related components rather than twice. We’ll tell you when that applies to your vehicle so you only pay that labor once.

Steam from under the hood, a sweet smell, a puddle of green, orange, or pink fluid under the car, or a heater that’s stopped blowing hot are all cooling-system symptoms. Call (913) 850-1750 — and if the gauge is in the red, don’t keep driving it.
